The
WAP Wash Press is a high efficiency screenings washing and dewatering
press. The unit includes a shafted screw, inlet hopper, main case, drain
tray and discharge pipe. The WAP is normally fed directly from the screen
or via a screw conveyor. The WAP Wash Press is available in four sizes,
ranging from 0.5 m3/h to 8 m3/h of wet screenings. Screenings are dewatered
to 35 -40%. |

The WAP/SL is an advanced screenings washing system that achieves a very
high level of organics removal from screenings. The unit comprises of
a feed tank, wash press and actuated ball valve for water level control.
The feed tank consists of a macerator that reduces the faecal organics
to a liquid form. The WAP/SL can produce screenings with a dry solid content
between 40 - 45% with 95% organic removal. The WAP/SL can be fitted with
a high-pressure control valve in order to achieve greater dry solids. |
